 
CIS Scholarships are provided to encourage students to stay in school and continue their education. Financial need and/or other hardships are taken into consideration when awarding these scholarships. Applicants are also scored on academics, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and interviewing skills.
 Academic scholarships are awarded in May to students graduating from The Brunswick County Academy, Early College High School, South Brunswick High School, North Brunswick High School and West Brunswick High School. Scholarship awards are contingent upon verification of acceptance as a full time student to an institution of higher education.
2010 Scholarship Recipients!
The scholarship applications are processed through the high school guidance counselor. The CIS Scholarship Committee reviews the applications, interviews successful candidates and awards the scholarship at the high school Awards Day ceremony. Applications for 2011 will be available in the spring. Scholarships are for $1,000.00.
Donate a Scholarship!
.jpg) The number of scholarships awarded depends upon donations received at the Benefit Gala for Children where naming rights are auctioned off as part of the live auction. Donors are given the opportunity to present the scholarships to the recipients at the awards day ceremonies at each school. The Gala will be held at Sea Trail Golf Resort and Convention Center in Sunset Beach, 6:00 – 10:00 pm on October 21, 2010. Scholarship donations may also be made online.
