Elaine – Leland Middle School
Elaine is a tutor in Language Arts and participates in the Lunch Buddy and Peer Court program at Leland Middle School. “You spend lunch with them once a week for 20 minutes and you really form a bond,” Wallace said of her experiences with lunch buddies. She has had a lot of success in connecting with students through the CIS program. “My student going on to early college so far, that was one of the best ones,” Wallace said of her most rewarding moments since becoming involved in CIS.
