Drumming Up Support for Leland Middle School Students

Mrs. Waddell, the music teacher at Leland Middle School, asked if CIS Success Coach Ruth Thompson could find someone to donate buckets for drumming class. The North Brunswick Kiwanis Club came through immediately in support of the students. Peggy Bradt of the Kiwanis Club made sure she secured the drums they needed! In previous months, the Kiwanis Club has helped the music teacher secure gently used guitars for her students, after CIS Success Coach Ruth Thompson made them aware of the need. Now more students can learn to play musical instruments, thanks to the generosity of the North Brunswick Kiwanis Club. Kudos to the Kiwanis Club, a powerful community partner of both CIS and Brunswick County Schools, helping us make beautiful music together!
