CIS student Miguel at Waccamaw School increasing reading skills

Miguel and one of his mentors Mr. Michael Kirchner are pictured enjoying a positive conversation while Miguel works on his reading on Mobymax computer learning system. Miguel joined the CIS Action for Success program this year and has advanced well. He enjoys spending time with mentors in the program and has boasted about reading six books in one week to his CIS Success Coach. Miguel is a bright example of how quickly a child can benefit from one to one mentors. In one year, he has brought his reading grade up over 15 points, developed confidence, and has developed a love for learning!
