Parenting Education participants learn that Kindness Rocks!

Children participating in the CIS Parenting Education Program’s Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group learned about the importance of kindness at a recent gathering.  The Child Educators provided a presentation the ways kindness can help those having a difficult time and help connect people to one another in a positive way. The children then created Kindness Rocks to give to others and to keep for themselves to help make them smile when they are feeling sad.  The children loved the opportunity to creatively express themselves.
