South Brunswick Middle School Supplies Students with Resources to Support Success

Success Coach Bryan Mills distributed school supplies and backpacks generously donated by the community during the Open House at South Brunswick Middle School in August. Mr. Mills and all our Success Coaches are excited to see their students back at school for the new 2024/2025 school year! Last school year our Success Coaches worked with 579 at-risk students providing case management, academic tutoring, behavior and attendance interventions, social emotional learning and character development lessons, offering club activities and lunch groups to help students build positive peer relations, and provided basic need items and linkage to community resources for students and their families. At the core of this work is building a mutually trusting relationship between students and our staff. We will continue serving many of the students we worked with last year again this school year and will also add new students to our program who are identified as ‘at-risk’ by their school due to one or more risk factors that can present a barrier to their success.
